I am Julie Ingleby, originally from Colne in Lancashire.

I am Julie Ingleby, originally from Colne in Lancashire.  I lived in France for several years where I used to teach the French how to paint furniture the shabby chic style!

I returned to the UK where I was the landlady of The Fox Inn at Ousby.  I have been a school cook at Ivegill and recently been working at Eden Mencap.

My Partner is Alistair Musgrave who was born in the village, he runs his own business as a fencing contractor but he works behind the bar in the evenings and weekends.

My daughter Jodie also helps out, she used to go to school in France and she has completed 2 seasons working in the French Alps, where she learnt to snowboard.

We are lucky to have a great team working with us; Pauline, Sandra, Harriet & Cat on bar duties with 3 young staff Josh, Freya and Alex who help out at weekends serving food.

The pub is a traditional Country Inn where I cook and serve home cooked food using local suppliers.

There is a main menu and a specials board which changes every week.  I always have vegetarian options and I cater for gluten free.  Proper chips are served here and I make all my own desserts from pavlovas to sticky toffee puddings.

We have a separate games room where we have a pool table, darts board and TV.  In the near future we will be re-decorating the pub and extending the pool room and hopefully have a nice seating area to the rear of the pub.

We have regular Quiz, play your cards right & bingo nights on a Sunday once a month. We usually have some live Music on monthly (See our blog for what's on every month).
